Linden Prize Awarded

The Linden Prize is given annually by linden labs and gives "one Second Life Resident or team with $10,000 USD for an innovative inworld project that improves the way people work, learn and communicate in their daily lives outside of the virtual world."

The Linden Prize winner for 2010 is The Tech Virtual Museum Workshop. Launched in 2007, The Tech Virtual Workshop seeks ways of bringing faster and more collaborative exhibit development to museums worldwide using an online platform.

Their build allows users to experiment with different ways of presenting information in SecondLife with an immersive, hands-on approach.
